I have been telling my friend, who is a super duper Beyonce fan, for the longest time that Beyonce is a Michael Jackson imitator. She finally agreed with me after watching Beyonce’s Grammy performance last night.
Just for the heck of it, I put together videos of Beyonce copying MJ and MJ’s original performances. Most of the copying is apparent from jump but in the cases where it is not, I noted at which point it begin. Click the post title to view the entire collection of videos.

A new image of Janet Jackson looking much like her big brother MJ with pitch black skin was released via her twitter. Despite her recent loss, Ms. Jackson is back at work. She recently wrapped up the filming of Why Did I Get Married Too and is working on a new album rumored to be produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
Michael would be so proud.

Concreteloop.com had a better picture and some additional information regarding the new Janet picture. Supposedly, the picture is fan art (doubt it) and not official.

Baltimore’s Mario recently performed Human Nature over the instrumental version that John Mayer performed at Michael Jackson’s Memorial. It sounds amazing and really touches the soul.

Baltimore raptress Rye Rye recently pulled out of a Tour because she is pregnant. According to Rolling Stone, she wrote on her blog:
“To all my fans,I was suppose to be on the A-Trak tour but because of personal reasons i was pulled in the direction of not doing it. Things happen for a reason some happen at the the wrong point of ya life but no one knows why or for what reason only God. So yes I was blessed with a child. At first i was teary eyed and my first thought was to get rid of it. I asked God for guidance and i went to the hospital 4 times and each time i had a breakdown and i knew what direction God was pulling me in. WHAT GOD HAS FOR YOU, NOBODY CAN TAKE!!! AND HE DOESNT GIVE YOU MORE THAN WHAT YOU CAN HANDLE. i feel as tho i had a baby and i had to much integrity to abort her my mom was on the table about to have me aborted and seen my heartbeat and changed her mind. I’m young but I’m also grown and right now its alot on me. BUT THESE THINGS DIDNT STOP ME ONLY MOTIVATED ME TO WORK 10TIMES HARDER!!!!!! And i have alot of resect for the label for understanding and backing me and willing to work around this so we can release an amazing album.”
